Over the years, I've refined an artistic style that is timeless and warm, but I've also come to recognize and appreciate the need to allow for flexibility within that style to best suit your unique personalities along with the vision you have for your wedding day.
This requires me to invest additional time before the wedding day to get to know who you are, what you value, and what kinds of photos are going to speak to you most. For example, while one couple might love tight, intimate photos completely blur out the background, another might prefer more environmental portraiture that celebrates them while also putting them in a broader context and setting.
Similarly, each wedding day experience is crafted to capture and celebrate the creation of your unique family.

Yes! I work with 2nd photographers I trust both for their skill and the quality of their character. I always recommend that couples include a 2nd photographer in their collections, as this allows us to capture moments from different angles and to be more creative in our compositions. I'm happy to discuss this in greater detail during our initial conversation.

Do you work with a second photographer?

The right amount of coverage for you depends on which parts of the day you want documented as well as the logistics for the day. If you're holding your ceremony and reception at different locations, you'll need to plan for more coverage to allow for additional time in transit. Similarly, if you've purchased matching robes for your bridesmaids or are planning on having a sparkler exit from the reception and want those documented, you'll need additional coverage. Most couples end up needing between 8-10 hours of photography coverage to capture everything they're wanting.

How many hours of wedding photography is right for me?

While there's no magic number, you can generally expect between 60-100 photos delivered per hour of coverage. The exact amount varies from wedding to wedding. When your gallery is delivered online, you will have access to the fully-edited, high-resolution files that you're welcome to download and print as you desire. I'm also happy to create an heirloom, hand-crafted wedding album for you to make it easier to memorialize those special moments.

HOW MANY PHOTOS ARE TYPICALLY INCLUDED AND CAN WE PRINT THE PHOTOS OURSELVES?

The engagement session is an integral part of the experience, as it gives me a chance to better understand the types of photos that resonate most with you, and it provides an opportunity for me to coach you on the basics of posing and for you to get more comfortable in front of the camera. This way, when your wedding day arrives, you feel confident and comfortable, making the process much smoother and resulting in even more authentic and beautiful photos. As a result, all wedding collections include a complimentary engagement session.
